sickness..

There's a mini Masada festival running this week featuring several players, maybe it has something to do with Chanukah? Apparently John Zorn wrote 240 pieces in 2 months (from Sep-Oct this year) and they played a selection, some were pretty good. No, John Zorn did not play at the 10pm show on Wednesday I went to and at $20 a pop I don't think I'll get to another set. There also anoyingly seem to be some easily exitable jazz guys in the audience at these shows who yell and whoop at some not so remarkable run or solo every few minutes. Speaking of Jews.. I always seemed to get asked if I'm Jewish whenever I pass those guys in the garb on the street.
I've gone to a couple of pretty wholesome vegetarian Chinese restaurants the last couple of days which made me feel better but I've woken up this morning with a sore throat and sinus,.. weather got pretty wet and miserable last night. Oh, I got one these nifty adaptors so that now all the kids call play their Antipan 3" CD on their powerbooks.
From about 7-midnight yesterday I went to Dream House and relaxed. 5 hours is pretty hardcore of continous beating drone.
