Monday, popped around the corner to a local bar to see a dark kind of electronic night called Wrecking Ball. The DJ played some good noisy breakcore type stuff. I got into Optic a little bit towards the end of his set but left after a little bit of Xanopticon after the hipsters started smoking inside.
Last night I saw Zeena Parkins & Ikue Mori who ended up playing pieces more than improvising it seems. Pretty similar to the CD which only had about 1 1/2 good tracks. I'm not sure how people can appreciate bad mid 90's digital effects.
