Metal!

Last night I caught GWAR a couple of blocks away. If you didn't know they play metal with a huge theatrical show where they wear ridiculous horror themed paper mache costumes and summarily decapitate and disembowel effigies of celebrities which then spray the audience with fake blood. They had W., Paris Hilton, Michael Jackson and Osama up there amongst others. I stood far enough back so nothing hit me but several kids up the front were drenched, very metal. Support was Alabama Thunderpussy which were 'drink beer and smoke weed motherfuckers' type metal, not that entertaining and talking about 'fucking werewolves' isn't very engaging anyway you phrase it. Wandered backed to the hostel and argued with the LaRouche youth kids 'til about 3am. About 40 of them are staying at the hostel since their commune/whatever burned down... children of Satan!
Today I walked across the bridge to Cambridge and picked up some records from Twisted Village at Harvard Square then browsed through a few bookstores. Fairly decent Lebanese vegetarian plate for dinner.
