Got back to Berlin last night, staying in Friedrichstein this time which is to the east and has cheaper rents then mitte. Seems a bit more edgy but the buildings are all pretty ugly. Will have to look around further.. Bought a bit of stuff at A-Musik yesterday but sending via airmail was too expensive so I'm getting it sent by boat. Funny thing is they said they'll invoice me.. first store I've come across that does that. The hostel is a bit funny, they were playing some German metal when I walked in and the best of Elvis at breakfast, which also had lots of fresh fruit! (a rare thing).
