Crazy party

So I went to party on W 27th st at what appeared to be an activist space. The punk funk was going strong, although it was all first wave stuff. I must have heard 'Shack Up' by The Pop Group at least 3 times. Then a few bands played. The first one was along those lines and pretty good but I didn't catch their name. Electroputas were OK for a bit but they didn't keep my attention. Did I mention that the theme for the party was sci fi/unicorn? So there was lots of aluminium foil and bubble wrap around. Definite hilight of the night was the band I Love You. One bassist w/distortion, one drummer, 1 female singer + 1 dancer. A bit punk, anyways the singer and dancer come out covered in toilet paper and pink face paint and then subsequently strip down to boots, panties and carefully placed bits of tape. By this time a pit had formed and the place was going a bit crazy. Then feathers started flying around the place and people started pulling all the silver foil stuff from the walls. Anyway the props built from cardboard were summarily destoyed along with carboard monster heads, red veils, etc.. imagine ALL of this swirling around the people in the pit. It got very crazy and so much fun I couldn't help but join in the mayhem. One of the highlights of the trip thus far. It all got more debucherous from then on.. you get the picture
