Get up, get down

Finally made it to see The Fall, went through the dodgy area of Brooklyn but gode up to Williamsburg. There's this whole CMJ showcase so there was heaps of bands playing, only one or two were any good. The Fall were great, I even recognised a few tracks from their new album. The bad side is that I lost the key to my locker in the club. Luckily the security at the hostel had bolt cutters! I was so buggered after walking eveywhere yesterday that I slept most of today. Got out tonight to see amongst others The Deep Listening band as well as Phil Niblock at the Sounds Like Now festival that is on. It's still a bit hard to get some decent vegetarian. I had cheap Thai last night but I in the organic veges that I got before tonights show I discovered that there was some chicken within some beans..always a good look coughing up food. Got a cheap falafel after, blogging now from the apartment of a nice guy who let me use his internet.
